Reformation Charlotte was the first to give a voice to the sheep at FBC Naples who have been mistreated and publicly slandered for voting against a pastoral candidate that they had legitimate concerns about. You can read about that at this link.
After posting our first article, Reformation Charlotte received dozens of emails, texts, and phone calls from numerous members at FBC Naples thanking us for giving them a voice. Knowing how the Southern Baptist Convention — particularly the woke social justice movement within it — works, it was obvious that Southern Baptist leaders jumped the gun and indicted nearly one-fifth of the congregation who voted against the black pastoral candidate as “racists.”
After speaking with the members, we found out that many of these members were receiving emails from the pastoral staff announcing them of their decision to revoke their membership despite not having followed the biblical steps of Matthew 18. It was clear that the move was political and the church leadership was out of line.
We then discovered, among other things, that two of the top leaders who were pushing these members out have criminal records and that emails leaked to us dismantled the church leadership’s accusations of “racial prejudice” against the concerned members.

In this episode, Ed talks about the obvious and open racist slander directed by SBC leaders toward certain members of First Baptist Church, Naples. It is discouraging to see men who ought to know better conduct themselves in this manner. What is even more outrageous is that these men will preach about the love of Christ while engaging in outright hatred toward fellow Christians they do not know and have never met.
