It’s been a long time since Todd White was on my radar. And that’s not because there is a shortage of blasphemies regularly spewing from his mouth.
I’ll say it again. Todd White is a charlatan of the highest order.
In fact, Todd White made #23 on my False Teacher of the Day series. I’ve covered most of it over the years, from him saying that God “knowing us” is like having intercourse, to him comparing himself to Jesus for being “hated.”
He once lied and told his audience that he hadn’t lied in 18 years. He’s compared the Holy Spirit to a pooping dog. He said that Jesus’s disciples were not saved or born again—and he wasn’t referring to Judas.

He once said that Jesus did not defeat Satan as God, but as a man. He regularly performs cold readings and faux “healings”—parlor tricks— and passes them off as moves of the Holy Spirit.
And he’s made two of the most blasphemous statements one could ever conjure up about our Holy God. First, he twisted 2 Corinthians 5:21 where it says Jesus “became sin” for us, and makes an ontological claim that Jesus “became a child molester” for us and also that while you’re watching porn online, Jesus is in the bed with you and He wants to be your climax.
So because I’ve heard it all from this charlatan, almost anything he says nowadays is simply not news.
But in a recent clip, he said something that I thought was even crazy for him. After giving a loaded speech about how Christians are killing each other with “friendly fire” that actually isn’t friendly, but demonic—referring to pastors and leaders who criticize false teachers—he singles out John MacArthur and says he’s concerned about MacArthur’s eternal state.
What do you think God said when John MacArthur stood before him? Because he was one of the biggest persecutors of, of charismatic Christianity….raised up people that persecuted [charismatics].

Just one of the wildest things I’ve ever heard. But these charlatans hate accountability. And that’s what it boils down to. Charismatics believe that they are above accountability, that they are God’s “anointed,” and that any criticism of them is demonic.
It’s why there is so much immorality and false teaching rampant within the movement. Because they are taught not to criticize one another or hold each other accountable.
Yet, they have no problem criticizing John MacArthur and making drastic claims about the eternal state of his soul.
