An Episcopal priestess, with the fitting name, the Rev. Flourish Klink, wants us to know that “God is trans.”
And not only is God trans, but Mary assigned Jesus a male at birth, she said. According to Klink, when Jesus was born, Mary said “Oh look, a baby boy!” But Jesus wasn’t a boy.
Nevermind that that God sent the Angel Gabriel to tell Mary long before she even conceived that she would have a Son.
Apparently, she was caught off guard after He was born.

But it gets worse.
“God isn’t a boy,” Klink says. “We have established this. God is beyond boy and girl. God was assigned a gender at birth and later on it became clear that that gender wasn’t quite right.”
Now, here comes the dire warning directly from Klink’s mouth.
“If you’re going to deny God is trans, I think you’re going to be denying the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ…”
