It is a bitter pill to swallow when the Church of England, once a stronghold of moral fortitude and upholding the teachings of the Bible, has now become a sanctuary for those who engage in aberrant and sinful sexual behavior. This disgusting and depraved embrace of the LGBTQ movement is a slap in the face to the loyal followers of the Church and a stain on its proud heritage.

Examples of the Church of England’s embrace of the LGBTQ movement can be seen in its willingness to perform same-sex marriages and ordain openly LGBTQ clergy. In 2014, the Church of England issued guidance stating that same-sex couples could have their relationships blessed in church, though not formally married. And in 2017, the Church voted to allow openly LGBTQ clergy to become bishops, as long as they are in a civil partnership and pledge to remain celibate.

It is a disgrace that the Church of England has abandoned its longstanding commitment to traditional Christian values and instead chosen to pander to the desires of a small minority. This betrayal of its faithful members and the teachings of the Bible will not be easily forgotten or forgiven.

It is even more outrageous that the Church of England has chosen to ordain “Reverend” Bingo Allison, a man wearing a dress who refers to himself as non-binary and transgender, as a priest. This is a clear example of the Church’s willingness to sell out its integrity and values for the sake of placating the politically correct crowd. Allison’s participation in the ridiculous and made-up holiday of the transgender day of visibility, which celebrates deviant sexual behavior, shows the Church’s complete disregard for the sanctity of human sexuality.

Allison uses the biblical story of Adam and Eve to justify immoral sexual behavior, revealing a complete lack of respect for the Bible or the teachings and traditions of the Church. It is truly tragic that the Church of England has decided to abandon its principles and embrace a radical and immoral agenda. It is essential that faithful Christians stand up and boldly object to this foolishness in order to defend the faith.

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

It seems that over the last several years, Evangelicalism has taken a sharp turn in leadership, leaving many empty chairs that were once filled with prominent voices. I think this turn started in 2017 when we lost R.C. Sproul. He was a voice the church looked to for...

Heresy of the Day #24: Generational Curses

I recently saw a video clip of false teacher Kathryn Krick claiming to free a woman of the “generational curses” of abuse, and it was difficult to watch. The woman was obviously hurt, sad, and noticeably emotional. And here was Krick, exploiting this poor woman for...

How to Identify the Heresy of Statism in Your Church

Remember COVID? Remember the evangelical talking heads—Russell Moore, David French, Ed Stetzer—aggressively pushing us to “love our neighbors” by wearing dirty face masks? Doubled up, maybe. Telling us that we must “do the right thing” by risking our own lives,...

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Somewhere along the way, the church stopped asking how God wants to be worshiped and started asking what people will show up for. We have spent decades perfecting an experience God never commanded. Not because our doctrinal statements changed. They often haven’t. Not...
