Pastor Says If You Celebrate Supreme Court Roe Ruling, You’re Worthy of Hellfire

Yesterday, The Dissenter reported that The Gospel Coalition published an article urging Christians to withhold celebration in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. The article attempted to persuade Christians to refrain from joy despite the fact that Proverbs 21:15 tells us otherwise:

When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous
    but terror to evildoers.

So let’s ask then, what does this say about those trying to quell the spirit of the lovers of righteousness when a bit of justice has been served—or at least a bit of injustice has been overturned? Well, Proverbs 28:5 tells us that “Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely.”

In the video below, one “pastor” takes his lack of understanding of justice even further and attempts to convince us that the Bible tells us that celebrating the overturning of Roe v. Wade is not only unbiblical but makes us “worthy of hellfire.”
