In 2021, an openly queer woman named Grace Baldridge took the worship scene by surprise as she, who goes by the performance name Semler, overtook the highly popular Lauren Daigle for the number one spot on iTunes for the Christian music charts.

In a now-deleted tweet, at the time, Semler wrote: Y’ALL WE DID IT! AN OPENLY QUEER ARTIST IS SITTING AT #1 ON THE CHRISTIAN MUSIC CHARTS.

This was unsurprising as homosexuals have been pushing a “gay Christian” movement within every denomination from rank heresy-toting liberals to even the more conservative denominations like the Southern Baptist Convention and the Presbyterian Church (PCA). Such movements, including Revoice and Living Out, have normalized homosexuality and served to remove the stigma from pew-sitters claiming to be Christian yet are openly gay whether practicing or claiming to be celibate.

Bob and Larry are the brainchildren of the now notoriously woke and far-left “Christian” activist, Phil Vischer–who we’ve documented at Reformation Charlotte. However, it is uncertain if Vischer himself actually agrees with Semler’s take on Bob and Larry, or if this is just the natural fruit of his progressive and “inclusive” ideology that he’s been touting for the last several years. Phil Vischer has openly stated that Christians should not oppose transgenderism.
