Yesterday, Reformation Charlotte reported that a prominent megachurch in Orlando Florida put out a video of the senior associate pastor boasting about homosexuals, transgenders, and pro-abortion feminists all joined together to create “the most beautiful worship experience one could ever imagine.” Turns out, unsurprisingly, this church also has a lady-preacher on staff who regularly preaches Sunday morning services to mixed audiences.

A clear violation of the Southern Baptist Convention’s statement of faith–not to mention, a clear violation of the Scriptures–First Baptist Orlando continues to demonstrate that this church is unfit for the Kingdom of God in its continued rebellion against God and His role for the local church.

Stacey Thacker, who the website suggests is the women’s minister (or former women’s minister) at First Baptist Orlando, has preached on numerous occasions at the church including at least once filling in for the senior pastor, David Uth, on Sunday Morning. The sermon she preached was on Habakkuk 1; listen to the audio below of an associate pastor introducing her to the congregation to fill in for Uth.

Audio of Thacker being introduced to church to preach in place of senior pastor.

Unfortunately, the video for that introduction could no longer be found on the web and only the audio was available. However, below is the video from the sermon itself, without the introduction.

And below is another video of Thacker preaching to both men and women. The video below is where the screen-grab at the top of this article was taken. You can clearly see men throughout the audience.

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

It seems that over the last several years, Evangelicalism has taken a sharp turn in leadership, leaving many empty chairs that were once filled with prominent voices. I think this turn started in 2017 when we lost R.C. Sproul. He was a voice the church looked to for...

Heresy of the Day #24: Generational Curses

I recently saw a video clip of false teacher Kathryn Krick claiming to free a woman of the “generational curses” of abuse, and it was difficult to watch. The woman was obviously hurt, sad, and noticeably emotional. And here was Krick, exploiting this poor woman for...

How to Identify the Heresy of Statism in Your Church

Remember COVID? Remember the evangelical talking heads—Russell Moore, David French, Ed Stetzer—aggressively pushing us to “love our neighbors” by wearing dirty face masks? Doubled up, maybe. Telling us that we must “do the right thing” by risking our own lives,...

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Somewhere along the way, the church stopped asking how God wants to be worshiped and started asking what people will show up for. We have spent decades perfecting an experience God never commanded. Not because our doctrinal statements changed. They often haven’t. Not...
