JD Greear, president of the Southern Baptist Convention — who denounced Southern Baptists as racists and white supremacists, called on Christians to stand up for LGBTQ rights, and has a pro-choice woman leading bible studies at his church — now says that people who are followers of Jesus will think about the rights of immigrants while at the ballot box.

Greear says that Christians should “have no tolerance” for policies that “denigrate” immigrants and that instead of thinking about our own children, we should think about their children.

Of course, as Greear tries explain that his sermon series on political neutrality isn’t meant to be construed as a promotion of one political position over another, anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that the left constantly maligns the conservative position on border security.
