Jim Bakker’s Silver Solution was proven ineffective recently as his family had confirmed that he has suffered from a stroke that had put him off air.

Bakker is known for pushing his “miracle cure” solution that has landed him in legal trouble recently for outrageous claims that it can cure anything — including the novel coronavirus. Even his credit processing company cut him off making it impossible for him to receive electronic payments.

According to the Charlotte Observer, his wife, Lori, confirmed the stroke and his son described it as “minor.” However, as a staunch proponent of his miracle cure solution, it appears despite and using it regularly as he claims, he suffered from a stroke anyway. His family vows he will be back, however.

Jim Bakker is a false prophet best known for a sexual assault scandal surrounding his secretary, Jessica Hahn and for his financial scandals surrounding his now-defunct Heritage USA theme park in South Carolina.

After spending time in prison on fraud convictions, Bakker has re-emerged in the charismatic New Apostolic Reformation as a right-wing political charlatan who bilks political conservatives on their fears of economic and social collapse.
