Pope Francis is right — Catholics and Muslims most certainly worship the same God. But that’s where the truth of his latest tweet ends. Today, Pope Francis tweeted, once again, another message of affirmation between Christians and Muslims, asserting that God created them to “live like brothers and sisters” while “respecting each other in their diversity.”
As stated, this isn’t the first time the pope has declared this assertion, as he’s been on a mission to affirm everyone in the world a “brother” or “sister” — except Biblical, Protestant Christians. A few weeks ago, Pope Francis visited another Islamic State declaring that “faith in God unifies us.”
It is true that Muslims and Catholics worship the same God. There are two religions in this world — Christianity and Paganism. Guess what Catholicism is not. That’s right, Christianity.
