If you ever wondered why LifeWay stores — a bookstore owned and managed by the Southern Baptist Convention — is littered with heretical books written by false teachers, it’s that those who have been in charge over the years had no concern for the poison they fed the sheep and were hell-bent on making a profit, at all costs.

Ed Stetzer is a former LifeWay executive who, during his reign, experienced a debacle involving a book about visiting Heaven that the young author admitted was not true. Despite his efforts at trying to get LifeWay, namely Ed Stetzer and Thom Rainer to remove the books, his efforts proved futile until the story made national news.

Since then, LifeWay stores has peddled heretical materials for cash from a broad range of false teachers from T.D. Jakes, a modalist to Joel Osteen, the pop king of the prosperity gospel. This is all thanks to these two men.

Now that Stetzer has left LifeWay, he holds the Billy Graham Chair of Church, Mission, and Evangelism at Wheaton College, serves as Dean of the School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadership at Wheaton College, and serves as Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center. Yet, despite his continual ties with Southern Baptists, Stetzer has no problem — and has never had any problem — joining rank heretics for unity, prayer, and worship.

In 2020, Stetzer is slated to join a host of rank heretics including Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, Todd White, and Sammy Rodriguez — a gaggle of New Apostolic Reformation Apostles — along with many others for a charismatic Pentecostal worship-fest. The Jerusalem 2020 Conference — held in May/June of 2020 — touts itself as

a life-changing Pentecost in Jerusalem as we unite in prayer and worship, hear from leading voices around the world and discover where the global church is headed in the future. Connect with what God is doing around the world, see your faith come to life in the land of the Bible and encounter the Holy Spirit in a fresh and powerful way.

This is important because this is not simply a gathering for discussion or dialog with an acknowledgment of disagreements. This is important because these men are joining together for worship and prayer — rank heretics — and Stetzer is putting his stamp of approval on it. The entire purpose of the event is centered around prayer, unity, and worship, yet God commands us not to be yoked with these people, for they are enemies of God.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?  What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols?

One of the The Fruits of Human Depravity is: Stupidity

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, imbuing the world with order, reason, and morality, and most importantly, a desire to worship Him. However, the first tangible evidence of stupidity emerged in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve, deceived by...
