Church Euthanizes Grandmother In Front of Little Kids as They Gather Around Her and Sing Hymns

No, this is not satire. This is not the Babylon Bee or the Nod Daily News. And even if it were, it would not be funny. What you are reading is real. A church in Canada recently assisted an elderly woman in medical suicide as her family, children, and grandchildren gathered around to watch.

The elders at Churchhill Park United in Winnipeg, Manitoba, unanimously voted to carry out the recently-legalized form of government-sanctioned medical murder in the sanctuary of the church. According to Broadview, a UCC publication, Betty Sanguin, with an amyotrophic lateral sclerosis diagnosis and whose age is left unreported, was brought in on a stretcher around noon on March 9 to have the procedure carried out.

Sanguin’s obituary reads, “It is with full hearts that we share the news of our mother Betty Sanguin’s death, on March 9, 2022, at Churchill Park United.”

“As the sun streamed through the stained glass windows in the music-filled sanctuary,” the obituary continues, “surrounded by her children, grandchildren and close friends, Betty hosted a simple Crossing Over Ceremony and then let go of her hold on this life.”

“The moment we rolled her in … and sat her up in her recliner, she lit up like a Christmas tree,” Lynda Sanguin-Colpitts, one of Sanguin’s daughters, recalls according to Broadview. “I hadn’t seen that much life in her eyes, so much joy [in a long time]. And honestly I think part of it was just being in the church.”

Actually, if we’re thinking biblically, anyone being wheeled into a church sanctuary to be murdered in front of her six children, numerous grandchildren, and an auditorium full of friends to watch her die has been either given over to a depraved mind or is mentally ill. Either way you slice it, the Scriptures are clear; those who hate God love death (Proverbs 8:36).

The Broadview reports:

During the ceremony, two of Sanguin’s grandchildren sang “Let Your Light Shine on Me” and everyone joined in for “How Great Thou Art.” Sanguin waved her arms along to the music. Sanguin had prepared a playlist for the event, which was mostly gospel music — a lifelong love of hers.

This is seriously unfathomable. But it comes as no surprise that the United Church of Christ is godless it employs atheist “pastors” and leaders.

“Afterwards, the minister of Churchill Park United, Rev. Dawn Rolke, offered a blessing,” the report continued, “Each of Betty’s six children placed their hands on her as Rolke invited Sanguin to go in peace.”

Sick! What kind of depraved mind would want to put their family, especially their children and grandchildren, through such a horrific event. And for the church staff who approved of this, their consciences are so seared it would take an act of God’s mercy to bring them out of their depraved state.
