Every time I believe I’ve witnessed the peak of sacrilege, I am confronted with a new abomination that sears my soul. As one redeemed by the blood of Christ, continually sanctified despite my own sinfulness, the sheer magnitude of humanity’s hatred towards our Creator is beyond comprehension. Yet, this loathing for God isn’t an anomaly, it’s a tragic normality, ingrained in our sinful nature from birth, manifesting in countless ways among the unregenerate.

However, there exists a form of blasphemy so heinous, so utterly repugnant, that it stands as a stark testament to a profound truth declared in Romans 1: their hatred for God is so deep-seated that He has abandoned them to their debased desires. This isn’t just a rejection of divine love—it’s a deliberate, contemptuous spurning of God, a testament to the depravity that festers in the absence of His grace.

And what could be more blasphemous than depicting the infant Son of God in the arms of His mother, Mary…in drag? It’s hard to imagine anything. Yet, I’m sure I will be confronted with it sooner than expected. Satan is desperate in these last days. He knows his time is short and he wants to take as many as he can with him into the eternal flames of Hell. Make no mistake, this is where this blasphemy will all end, lest they repent and trust in the saving grace of the one they spit on.

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

It seems that over the last several years, Evangelicalism has taken a sharp turn in leadership, leaving many empty chairs that were once filled with prominent voices. I think this turn started in 2017 when we lost R.C. Sproul. He was a voice the church looked to for...

Heresy of the Day #24: Generational Curses

I recently saw a video clip of false teacher Kathryn Krick claiming to free a woman of the “generational curses” of abuse, and it was difficult to watch. The woman was obviously hurt, sad, and noticeably emotional. And here was Krick, exploiting this poor woman for...

How to Identify the Heresy of Statism in Your Church

Remember COVID? Remember the evangelical talking heads—Russell Moore, David French, Ed Stetzer—aggressively pushing us to “love our neighbors” by wearing dirty face masks? Doubled up, maybe. Telling us that we must “do the right thing” by risking our own lives,...

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Somewhere along the way, the church stopped asking how God wants to be worshiped and started asking what people will show up for. We have spent decades perfecting an experience God never commanded. Not because our doctrinal statements changed. They often haven’t. Not...
