Samuel Perry, a University of Oklahoma sociologist, has fashioned himself as a fierce antagonist to what he labels “white Christian Nationalism” in America, a concept that should be outright rejected as a fabricated alarmist theory. His book, “Taking America Back for God,” is merely an attack on Christianity in general, falsely accusing America’s Christian heritage of being the cause of racial and nationalist extremism.

Perry’s depiction of so-called “white Christian Nationalism” as a democratic threat is nothing short of absurd, a baseless and inflammatory narrative that misrepresents and maligns the true nature of Christian influence in American history and governance. It is a blatant example of bearing false witness against true Christians, something of which Perry is not, creating a phantom enemy where none exists.

Perry’s critiques are not scholarly discourse but a clear manifestation of a broader antagonistic agenda against conservative Christian values. He is a deliberate alarmist, intent on stoking unfounded fears and painting all Christians as extremists under the label of “nationalism.”

This is why it is not surprising that he would sit on a panel of anti-Christian Nationalists as one of his co-panelists, Xavier Pickett, mocks white Christians throughout history, saying that “white Christians are the devil,” who “never had Jesus,” and then comparing them to conservative Christians today. Whether or not you’re on board with the Christian Nationalist movement of today, make no mistake, if you hold to conservative biblical principles in any way, these people, Perry, Pickett, and the rest of these clowns, put you all in that same bucket and label you an extremist. Their entire goal is the extermination of biblical Christianity using any means necessary.
