After the Colorado gay nightclub shooting over the weekend that killed five people and injured dozens more, the left went crazy making their accusations against “white supremacy” and “anti-LGBTQ rhetoric” as the motive for the shooting.

Many, even so-called Christians, stood out among the crowds denouncing biblical Christianity saying that speaking ill of the LGBTQ community results in death. Among these professing Christians was Latasha Morrison of Be The Bridge which is associated with mainstream Evangelical and Southern Baptist organizations like SEBTS, The Gospel Coalition, and more.

But now, in an actually unsurprising turn of events, it turns out that Christianity and conservatism wasn’t actually the cause of this act of violence—the shooter himself is a non-binary queer who uses they/them pronouns and “Mx.” in lieu of “Mr.” according to court filings obtained by a New York Times reporter, of all people.
