At some point, the true Bride of Christ has to expel the evil person from among them. But sadly, many churches today not only tolerate false prophets but also celebrate them. In the case of Bethel Church in Redding, California, churches worldwide celebrate these false prophets by playing their music during worship service and sending them royalties to fund their blasphemy.

As we’ve explained before, Bethel Redding is essentially a cult that revolves around the visions of its two leading “Apostles” while minimizing the truth of Scripture. Its livelihood depends on the fantastic tales relayed by its pastors as “revelations” from God coupled with the “experience” of worship through its deep emotionally-stimulating music.

Bethel Church is full of crazy blasphemers and idolaters. If it isn’t senior pastor, Bill Johnson, and his false prophecies, fake healings, and promotions of false signs and wonders, then it’s his associate, Kris Vallotton doing the same thing. Kris Vallotton, the second “prophet” in command at Bethel Church in Redding, California, once told a story of how he encountered Jesus while lying in his bathtub.

But this might be one of the craziest things that Vallotton has ever said. In a recently surfaced video, Vallotton claims that Adam, when naming the animals, was “procreating with God.”

And so, God begins to form creatures from the dirt and he passes them by Adam. And I’d like to suggest to you that when Adam’s calling the creatures’ names, he’s not calling them by Spot, Fefe, and Trigger. And literally Adam, and the connotation of the Hebrews, that Adam is calling them names, that Adam is procreating with God.

God alone is the Creator and never once speaks about pro-creating with man (Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 40:28; Acts 17:24; John 1:3; Hebrews 1:2; etc.). God bringing the animals to Adam to be named was not an act of creation, it was an act of dominion—God gave Adam dominion over the animals. The key word is “gave.”

Further, in Genesis 1:26, we clearly see that God created the animals before he even created man, and then God says he will let man rule over the animals. To understand this the way Vallotton is portraying it would be to deny the literal creation account in Genesis 1 and interpret Genesis 2:18-19 as a contradiction to Genesis 1 rather than a supplement. But even if God created the animals after Adam, which he didn’t, it would still be blasphemous to claim that Adam was “procreating with God” by naming them. So what Kris Vallotton is saying is complete and total blasphemy and an attempt at usurping the throne of God.
