You may remember a few years ago when Shawn Nepstad, the former pastor of People Church, hauled a dumpster on stage and climbed in it, and began to preach from the dumpster. No, that was not satire, you can see the clip here if you like. But the level of tomfoolery never departs from these clowns.

Well, Nepstad may have since left People Church, but he didn’t leave his foolishness behind. Nepstad is now the pastor of Fellowship Church in California. In one of his latest sermon illustrations, he builds a birds nest on stage, climbs in it, and pretends to be a baby bird eating worms.

Spurgeon was right when he said that a time would come when we would no longer see shepherds feeding sheep, but rather clowns entertaining goats. That’s exactly what this place is, a goat farm.
