It seriously seems like everywhere you see a congregation of false prophets, there you will find Ed Stetzer wrapped up right in the middle of it. That should tell you something about Stetzer.

Ed Stetzer is a former LifeWay executive who, during his reign, experienced a debacle involving a book about visiting Heaven that the young author admitted was not true. Despite his efforts at trying to get LifeWay, namely Ed Stetzer and Thom Rainer to remove the books, his efforts proved futile until the story made national news.

Since then, LifeWay stores has peddled heretical materials for cash from a broad range of false teachers from T.D. Jakes, a modalist to Joel Osteen, the pop king of the prosperity gospel. This is all thanks to these two men.

Now that Stetzer has left LifeWay, he holds the Billy Graham Chair of Church, Mission, and Evangelism at Wheaton College, serves as Dean of the School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadership at Wheaton College, and serves as Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center. Yet, despite his continual ties with Southern Baptists, Stetzer has no problem—and has never had any problem—joining rank heretics for unity, prayer, and worship.

In 2020, Stetzer joined a host of rank heretics including Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, Todd White, and Sammy Rodriguez — a gaggle of New Apostolic Reformation Apostles — along with many others for a charismatic Pentecostal worship-fest. The Jerusalem 2020 Conference — held in May/June of 2020 — touted itself as:

“A LIFE-CHANGING PENTECOST IN JERUSALEM AS WE UNITE IN PRAYER AND WORSHIP, HEAR FROM LEADING VOICES AROUND THE WORLD AND DISCOVER WHERE THE GLOBAL CHURCH IS HEADED IN THE FUTURE. CONNECT WITH WHAT GOD IS DOING AROUND THE WORLD, SEE YOUR FAITH COME TO LIFE IN THE LAND OF THE BIBLE AND ENCOUNTER THE HOLY SPIRIT IN A FRESH AND POWERFUL WAY.”

Now, Stetzer has aligned himself once again with many of these same fraudulent personalities for a similar conference in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam 2023 Conference features many of the same false teachers, false prophets, and false apostles, including Bill Johnson, Cindy Jacobs, Christine Caine, and Samuel Rodgriguez—a false prophet with whom former ERLC head, Russell Moore, often found himself spiritually aligned with due to their shared interest in open borders and amnesty.

According to the Amsterdam 2023 website, the purpose is to “celebrate the 2000 year anniversary of Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection and the birth of the Church on the Day of Pentecost.” However, as is typical with these wolves in sheep’s clothing, these false prophets are making “prophetic” predictions that have bee made numerous times by these same clowns and failed to come to pass. They are predicting that “the decade leading up to 2033 will be a defining decade, a decade in which it is possible for every person on earth to hear the gospel.”

The only problem is, these clowns don’t know what the gospel is, and for them, they blaspheme the Holy Spirit with their false predictions, false visions, and false signs and wonders. Here is a picture of Rick Warren also speaking at this event.

Of course, anyone with a modicum of discernment knew that Rick Warren was a false teacher from the beginning and brings us to the question: why did it take ordaining women to the pastorate to finally disfellowship his church from the Southern Baptist Convention? He should have been booted decades ago.

And the same goes for Ed Stetzer. Why does Stetzer continue to get a pass and why do Southern Baptists continue to align with him?  A recent article that appeared on Ed Stetzer’s ChurchLeaders website is a prime example of this. In the article, titled Pastoring LGBTQ-Identifying People in Your Church With Grace and Truth, the author, Dale Chamberlain, actually unknowingly demonstrates exactly NOT how to do this. In the article, he gives four main “tips” on how to “pastor” homosexuals which boil down to creating an atmosphere where sodomites feel welcomed, toning down your preaching about homosexuality and gathering feedback from homosexuals, figure out where sodomites can serve in your church, and using human reason rather than biblical wisdom.
