Voddie Bauchum reminds us all of who Martin Luther King really was, the false gospel he embraced, and the neo-Marxist worldview he espoused.

Reformation Charlotte has covered Martin Luther King showing how the idolatry of King within Evangelical circles has taken on an unprecedented status as he’s been practically deified by the Evangelical social justice movement. While we acknowledge much of the good that came from King’s contributions to the civil rights movement, we must also be honest and forthright about who King was.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a heretic who denied the deity of Jesusparticipated in orgies, and trafficked women for his own sexual pleasure. King was also a staunch supporter of Planned Parenthood — the world’s largest abortion provider — and even received the Margaret Sanger award from Planned Parenthood for his contributions to their cause.

As Christians, we can appreciate the good while acknowledging the bad. Unfortunately, Martin Luther King denied the true gospel and rejected Jesus Christ as God precluding him from the Kingdom of God. We cannot gloss over this and deify him into Heaven. His gospel was false. His worldview was false. And any good that came from his contributions is the work of God who alone deserves the glory.
