Steven Furtick Says God Told Moses “I am” Because We Are Just Like God Is

by | Feb 20, 2021 | heresy, News, The Church | 0 comments

Serial Scripture-twister and rank heretic, Steven Furtick of Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC is no stranger to clownish gimmicks that mock Christ and reflect a spirit of sedition against the commandments of God.

Narcissist, Steven Furtick believes that the Scriptures are all about him as heĀ once ascribed the promise of the coming savior, Jesus, who would crush the head of the serpent as the serpent bruised his heel to himself and onceĀ received a bronze statue of King DavidĀ from anti-Trinitarian heretic, T.D. Jakes, for having the ā€œhead of the Giant under his feet.ā€

Continuing his Scripture-perverting shenanigans, Furtick now tells his audience that the reason God told Moses “I am” is because he was trying to get Moses to see that we are just as God is.

“When God said ‘I am’ to Moses, you know, ‘my name is I am,’ he was trying to get him to see ‘you are as I am,'” Furtick lies.

The Moral Collapse of America and God’s Looming Judgment

Rome had a strange smell near the end of its empire. Historians don’t really talk about that part. They write about military campaigns and collapsing currencies and corrupt emperors with grapes hanging from their fingers while boys danced in silk before them. But I...

God’s Wrath vs. The Modern Preacherā„¢

There is something deeply unsettling about watching a man stand on a stage with a Bible in his hand, speaking with the cadence of a preacher while slowly dissolving the very attributes of God that make the gospel necessary in the first place. Not in one violent motion...

Parents Handing Their Children Over to Drag Queens is Despicable

These ... clowns. Literal clowns. Some dude, draped in cheap polyester sequins and a wig that reeks of desperation, sits there. He’s playing pretend with kids. He’s wearing a caricature of womanhood like a skin suit, and he’s doing it in front of a child.ā€œDo I look...

The Cycle of Charismatic Comebacks Continues: Next Up, Mike Bickle

There’s a pattern in the charismatic movement—and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Another leader crashes. Another ā€œmovementā€ staggers. Another circle of loyalists scrambles to explain, reinterpret, salvage. Not repent, but salvage. Not submit to Scripture, but...

This is What Happens When a Charlatan is Your Spiritual Advisor

Over Easter—of all times—spiritual charlatan, Paula White, stood in front of cameras and compared Donald Trump to Christ. Not subtly. Not loosely. Directly. She took the betrayal, the suffering, the cost, the language that belongs to the cross alone—and laid it at the...
