One of North Carolina’s rising stars in conservative politics, Madison Cawthorn, has vowed to go to Washington on January 6 to contest the fraudulent election results and fight for Donald Trump.
Cawthorn, who was elected as North Carolina’s 11th congressional district after defeating Democrat Moe Davis in 2020, has made his name as a fighter for conservatives despite his disability and has been endorsed by a number of notable pro-Trump conservatives including the president himself.
Cawthorn has vowed to stand up for the constitution in Washington and says the he is “contesting this election based on constitutional violations by key states,” citing the constitutional requirement that election law in states is to be determined by legislature.
