Did you know that the Salvation Army is already a gay-affirming so-called “Christian” organization? What else do they need to prove?

Ellie Goulding, an English pop icon, has threatened to pull out of the Salvation Army Thanksgiving half-time show during the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys – Buffalo Bills matchup unless the Salvation Army — a historically (though not anymore) conservative Christian charity — makes a donation to support LGBTQ.

Goulding posted on Instagram Tuesday that she was looking forward to her appearance because the Salvation Army does so much to help people around the world.

“Ok this is going to be LIT (can I say that when I’m 32),” she writes, “I’m excited to announce I’ll be kicking off the @salvationarmyus Red Kettle Campaign at the @dallascowboyshalftime show this Thanksgiving! I can also confirm that @the_kearnal_86 will hereby be launching his acting career. Tune in to CBS for the game and join us this holiday season in the #FightForGood…”

Her Instagram comment drew the ire of many LGBTQ activists demanding she pull from the event.

Goulding responded to the comments stating that after she researched, she is now asking the Salvation Army to make a donation to the LGBTQ, or else she will pull out. She writes,

Upon researching this, I have reached out to The Salvation Army and said that I would have no choice but to pull out unless they very quickly make a solid, committed pledge or donation to the LGBTQ community,” Goulding wrote. “I am a committed philanthropist as you probably know, and my heart has always been in helping the homeless, but supporting an anti-LGBTQ charity is clearly not something I would ever intentionally do. Thank you for drawing my attention to this.

Here’s what I say — dump her. The LGBTQ mafia will stop at nothing short of full acceptance and celebration of their aberrant lifestyle.
