Southern Baptists Women don’t appreciate the Beth Moore bashing! Neither do they appreciate Owen Strachan’s view of complementarinsm that’s more restrictive than the Bible. Strachan’s doctrine though maybe well intentioned, places parameters on wmn, beyond biblical authority. https://t.co/V30QfN5oLG

I would not be in ministry today for it were not for @BethMooreLPM.

That is 100 percent fact. When I was discouraged and ready to give up, she was there with and for Maria and me and our kids.

We will never forget that, and I pray one day to live up to her example.

@BethMooreLPM is preaching this morning. Everybody is invited! “...It involved covering abuses and misuses of power. Shepherds guarding other shepherds instead of guarding the sheep.”

Beth, I’m so appreciate of your rare blend of humility and courage, your stick-to-it-ness has taught me much, as has your ability to engage w/o rancor or shrinking. This thread is even-handed, and that teaches me too. Keep going, sis! #FromAComplementarianBrother https://t.co/AgKRaSgG3Z
