Why Are Homosexuals Leading the Church’s Conversations on Marriage and Family?

The Evangelical Church has a serious blind spot when it comes to homosexuals. Seeking a “softer approach” to homosexuality, progressive Evangelical leaders such as JD Greear and Russell Moore have led the way of the infiltration of the Church this abomination. The Gospel Coalition is rampant with homosexuals who have been given a pedestal to lead the conversation on marriage, family, and sexuality.

Sam Allberry is the go-to gay Anglican priest propped up by The Gospel Coalition and the Southern Baptist Convention and has been invited to speak on several occasions. Last year, Allberry was invited to speak at an Ethics and Religious Liberty (ERLC) conference where he advocated for a redefinition of “family” to include gay singles in your churches — even suggesting that nuclear families open their homes to gays and allow them to babysit their children.

Allberry –who teaches that heterosexuality is not part of sanctification — also released a video at The Gospel Coalition calling on churches to back single-parent adoptions so gays in the churches can have families of their own.

Now think about this for a moment. What do homosexuals — who continue to live in singleness with no intent to pursue a biblical marriage — have to teach the Church about marriage and family? Nothing. There are several reasons why this is taking place, though, and none of them are biblical.

One reason they are being propped up is that the gay lobby is attempting to change the Christian perception of homosexuals by infiltrating churches with their nefarious propaganda. Men like Allberry are change agents and are being used to shift the paradigm of morality. The endgame? Full acceptance and inclusion of homosexuality in churches and in society.

Zondervan — a Christian publishing company — is publishing a book by gay activist Nate Collins of Revoice that supposedly will teach pastors the Biblical theology of gender and sexuality.

No. Just no.

If your church is teaching or using materials from Sam Allberry or other gay activists such as Preston Sprinkle or Nate Collins of Revoice, it’s probably time to find another church.
