[ONE NEWS NOW] – A left-wing, pro-abortion college student has been punished by a judge for defacing a pro-life display and cursing at demonstrators.
Thomas Metcalf, a student at Indiana University, was handcuffed and charged with vandalism, disorderly conduct, and theft after he spray-painted Created Equal signs then kicked them over.

The incident happened last fall after Created Equal set up its graphic displays of aborted fetuses, apparently triggering Metcalf.
“Please don’t do that, sir,” a pro-life activist repeatedly told the student as he sprayed the signs, then took them apart, in full view of the public and a camera phone that was recording.
Mark Harrington, executive director of Created Equal, tells OneNewsNow that Metcalf has plenty of far-left credentials, including being a member of the Young Democratic Socialists and Black Lives Matter.
A county judge, however, wasn’t impressed with the student’s pursuit of a socialist utopia: Metcalf was ordered to write an essay on the topic of the First Amendment.
He was also ordered to pay court costs and perform 60 days of community service.
Below, you can see the original incident that was caught on video by a student.
