Video has surfaced of an unknown black male randomly targeting and attacking an elderly, unarmed white woman. The woman, 92, was treated at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, according to reports, and is now in stable condition.
In the wake of the killing of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, riots and destruction have ensued and violent attacks have been carried out on random white people and police officers. With unfounded accusations of “white supremacy” as the cause of racial tensions, these violent attacks are becoming normalized in society as the police stand down and do little. It is unclear if this attack was motivated by racism, but one thing is clear — it was horrific.
