Churches are increasingly turning further and further away from God. What was once a thriving bastion of conservatism has now turned into a hotbed of spiritual poison as more churches forsake their first love and embrace a theologically progressive ideology of social justice. And when they do, they always end up with a theological system that not only allows for but calls for the embrace of homosexuality and feminism as these are all byproducts of the social justice movement.

Another Baptist church is now hosting a transgender speaker to address their congregation. First Baptist Church of Columbia, Missouri is hosting Austen Hartke, a female who believes she is male, and also believes she is a “theologian.”

According to one report,

The Rev. Carol McEntyre, senior pastor at First Baptist, said when she first heard Hartke speak, she was very impressed.

“We need to have him come to Columbia,” McEntyre said, calling it a “natural next step.”

Although the event will be held at First Baptist, several other churches in Columbia are sponsoring the event and pitched in funding for it.

McEntyre said she wants people to understand that there are transgender Christians, and this is an event for allies of the LGBTQ community and for those who want to learn more as well.

“First Baptist Church has a long history of working towards LGBTQ inclusion,” she said, adding that the church held training on inclusion last August.

According to her website, Hartke’s “greatest passion is helping other trans and gender-non-conforming people see themselves in scripture.” But what she fails to recognize is that “trans and gender-non-conforming people” are clearly spoken of in Scripture — and it really can’t get any clearer than Romans 1.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Romans 1:26-27

To make matters worse, though, this “church” and “churches” like them are also clearly spoken of in Scripture. They are part of the great harlot — the false church that masquerades as the true church. They are spiritually dead and drag many into the grave with them. God calls anyone left in that system out of it. There is nothing left for them except death.
