Evangelicals Primary Race Baiter Now Defending Homosexuality

When we speak of same-sex attraction, we’re speaking of homosexual desires — what the Bible speaks of as “vile affections” and “dishonorable passions” (Romans 1:26). The case against homosexuality isn’t boiled down to a mere platonic attraction through friendships — if this were the case, there would be no debate. Those struggling with this sin are struggling with sexual and romantic desires toward people of the same sex.

Yet, many have attempted and are attempting to downplay same-sex attraction, relating it to a platonic attraction “gone awry.” Evangelical’s race-baiter, Kyle Howard, has now turned his focus on defending homosexuality in the Church.

What Howard fails to acknowledge here is that those who struggle with this sin have already admitted to lust. Take Sam Allberry for example, Allberry states,

I am same-sex attracted and have been my entire life. By that, I mean that I have sexual, romantic and deep-emotional attractions to people of the same sex.

Sam Allberry is the leading homosexual voice in the Evangelical marketplace of unbiblical ideas. Yet, Allberry insists that these attractions are not sinful. They are.

Howard continues,

No, to be “attracted to” is not to lust after. But what Howard fails to acknowledge, once again, is that opposite-sex attraction is natural and normal, which is not forbidden in Scripture, while same-sex attraction is unnatural, is a result of a sinful heart with sinful desires, and forbidden.

Men practice the Billy Graham rule not because being attracted to the opposite sex is sinful, but because it could place them into a position where sinful temptations could take over. It’s a matter of discretion. However, comparing this to same-sex attraction is stupid, because having the same-sex attractions (which are sexual, by their own admittance — and which is why they aren’t attracted to people of the opposite sex) have already committed sin.

No, it doesn’t create any problems. Again, we’re not talking about friendships. We’re talking about men who desire to sodomize or to be sodomized by other men. This isn’t something friends desire between each other. This is something homosexuals desire — and as a general rule, they desire it to the exclusion of opposite-sex relationships. This argument is just dumb.

This argument is dumb. This isn’t the issue or argument at all. This argument would make everyone “same-sex attracted.” We’re talking about homosexuals, who in their own words, have “sexual, romantic and deep-emotional attractions to people of the same sex.” Just because they are not actively practicing bodily penetration does not make their desires any less sexual.

“Vile affections,” “dishonorable passions,” “shameful desires” — this is how Scripture defines it. It’s already sinful, it’s already unhealthy.

No, Kyle, it’s not that complicated. Homosexuality is unnatural, unhealthy, and sinful. It’s real simple. Read Romans 1. It must be repented of and we must serve them by calling them to repent.
