Tim Mackie of Bible Project: Jesus Says Some People are Born Homosexuals, (Beware Part II)

In previous articles, we have discussed the Bible Project, a highly popular YouTube bible-teaching initiative run by Tim Mackie. However, we’ve warned that Mackie’s theologically liberal approach to Scripture is reflected in many of his explanatory videos as well as his other teachings and these often contain erroneous or blatantly false teachings.

We must recognize the spiritual peril inherent in Mackie’s teachings as he targets children and Bible novices through his videos while espousing several heretical views and doctrines that are not only harmful but also cult-like and unorthodox.

Previously, we published an article where Mackie endorsed Eastern mysticism and promoted the teachings of a Roman Catholic monk who taught him such practices as contemplative prayer. Mackie even went on to say that Jesus practiced Eastern mysticism and other forbidden practices.

Now, another video has surfaced where Mackie twists the Scriptures to advance another increasingly popular but heretical teaching—”Side B gay Christianity.”

Side B Christianity is essentially the teaching of Revoice, a movement that has been condemned as false and heretical by conservative, Bible-believing Christianity. Essentially it teaches that homosexuality as an “orientation” is normative, Christians can have strong, romantic, sexual feelings for people of the same sex, and as long as they don’t actually have sex, they can are not sinning. In other words, it is a complete denial of the Holy Spirit’s power to change one’s thoughts and desires upon repentance and faith.

In the clip below, Mackie says that Jesus acknowledges (Matthew 19:12) that some people are “eunuchs by birth.” He then twists this passage to make it as though Jesus is saying that some people are homosexuals by birth.

He then later goes on in the clip to twist Galatians 3:28 which states that “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Instead, he rewords it and adds to it that in Jesus, there is “no male or female, no slave or free, no Jew or non-Jew, no gay or straight…”

Folks, the assault on the Scriptures, on conservative biblical theology, and Christianity itself is increasing. We must recognize the seriousness of even the most subtle of these invasions of unorthodox false teachings within the ranks of our churches. These false teachings are a serious breach of duty and those who continue to perpetuate them will face the wrath of God in the most serious way.

Check Out the New “Jesus Mecha Christ” “Transformer” Toy

A transforming Christ-meets-mecha toy? Yes, the “Jesus Mecha Christ” transforming toy actually exists. It's like someone sat down and said, “How can I mock both God and basic decency in one fell swoop?” This isn’t art or satire—it’s an abomination born from the unholy...

Christmas Hymn Review: Away in a Manger
