Christian Climate Action is a shabby organization that advocates for “climate justice” and calls for “peaceful” civil disobedience in response to what they believe is an “urgent threat of climate change.” It is a network of professing Christians from different denominations and countries who have turned climate change activism into their gospel message.
The organization is based in the United Kingdom but has members around the world. It was founded in 2016 and has organized various protests and actions, including prayer vigils, marches, and nonviolent direct actions, such as blockades and occupations.
Christian Climate Action sees climate activism as a moral issue and believes that Christians have a responsibility to take action to protect the planet and its inhabitants. The organization’s actions are grounded in nonviolence yet are intended to disrupt civil society with the goal of forcing governments and institutions to take more aggressive action on climate change.
Some of those acts include public disruption of traffic by lying in public roadways impeding traffic, which we often see reported on mainstream media. But their disruptive acts also include mocking church services with ridiculous and absurd acts of self-flagellation. In one recent incident, a woman, named Judith Russenberger, shaved her head during Church of England service as an act of “repentance” on behalf of the church for climate change.

This behavior exemplifies the extent of irrationality people can exhibit when they reject the truth of God and instead worship and serve created things rather than the Creator. It is a foolish act that showcases the absurdity of exchanging the truth for falsehood.
