SBC Megachurch Puts Bloody Nearly Naked Man on Cross, Presents Him as “Jesus” During Worship

I don’t think you have to be a complete iconoclast to know when depicting God crosses the line. God’s commandments are clear—”you shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above” and “You shall not bow down to them.”

What a contradiction, though, when a church strips a man of most of his clothes and puts him on a cross while playing worship music and everyone in the crowd is worshiping.

But that’s precisely what First Baptist Orlando has done and it’s, well, quite a cringeworthy sight, to say the least.
