Where do rebellious religious anarchists go when their conservative churches discipline them out of the congregation for unrepentant sexual immorality? The Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) is an apostate denomination that affirms homosexuals as well as female clergy. Often, you can see them with booths set up at various gay pride marches around the country denying Christ and giving people false hope in a false gospel.

But sexual immorality isn’t the only anti-Christian rebellion that the ELCA affirms—apparently, they will be merging with Native American mystics to worship false gods during a week-long event next week.

According to an announcement on its website, the ELCA “will honor and celebrate Indigenous people through presentations and worship during this weeklong event, to be held Aug. 8-12 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.”

The announcement also states that “elements during worship will include a prayer to the four directions, which will incorporate a gathering of waters from the four directions within the territory of the ELCA, and a time of repentance as called for in the Repudiation of the Doctrine of Discovery.”

The “four directions,” (East, West, South, North) is incorporated by Native Americans in what is called the “Medicine Wheel.” According to research, “The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used by generations of various Native American tribes for health and healing. It embodies the Four Directions, as well as Father Sky, Mother Earth, and Spirit Tree—all of which symbolize dimensions of health and the cycles of life.”

Of course, we already knew that the ELCA as well as all mainline Protestant denominations have completely abandoned the true and living God, Jesus Christ and have exchanged it for creation worship.

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. —Romans 1:24-25
