Known as the Noahic Covenant, after the flood in Genesis, God promised Noah, his descendants, and all of Creation unconditionally that He would never destroy the Earth by flood again.

“I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” —Genesis 9:11

Yet, we have “prophets” running around today contradicting the Word of God and insisting that God’s wrath, which will be poured out during the coming tribulation, includes destroying the Earth by flooding. One such false prophet is a Facebook prophet named Rebekah King. King says in a Facebook post that she and another “prophet” by the name of Postman William both had a vision from God showing them a future destruction of the world by a flood, particularly, a great Tsunami that occurs when “celestial bodies” crash into the ocean.

“God woke me up 1.5 years ago in November 2020 and showed me the same things,” she wrote on Facebook. “I have had dreams of water almost to the top of the NY skyscrapers and God showed/told me that the beast system is being readied to be implemented after the rapture happens.”

King was echoing the false prophecy of this “Postman William,” who claims to have seen a similar vision of God flooding the Earth. William stated that celestial bodies will “plunge into the ocean” causing a “mega tsunami.”

From “Postman William”

Obviously, this is contradictory to God’s promises. And lest anyone claim that it wouldn’t be God flooding the Earth, but Satan, notice that William invoked God’s “wrath and judgment” right before making this declaration.

Here’s what Scripture has to say about these false prophets, do not fear them, they speak presumptuously:

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. —Matthew: 7:15

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. —1 John 4:1

For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. —Matthew 24:24

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. —2 Peter 2:1
