Remember when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus during His baptism by John the Baptist and God’s voice could be heard from Heaven saying “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased”? Yep, that was God affirming that His Son, Jesus, was the Christ who came to save His people from their sin and the wrath of the Father.

Only Jesus is worthy of that proclamation.

Unless, of course, you’re a far-left lunatic “pastor” talking about far-left God-hating politicians and judges. Yep, this past week has been a flood storm of leftist pastors ascribing actions to the Holy Spirit as they compare their idols in government to Christ Himself. One of those pastors is Atlanta Pastor Dr. Kevin R. Murriel of Cascade United Methodist Church.

During a sermon this past week, Murriel stated that the Holy Spirit “descended” onto Cory Booker, a far-left pro-abortion pro-sodomy senator, during the Ketanji Brown Jackson confirmation hearings. During the hearings, Booker affirmed Jackson and said that this woman, who has freed pedophiles, supports abortion, and is pro-homosexual, is “standing for truth and righteousness.”

Of course, Christ alone stands for truth and righteousness and this woman, who stands against Him, is definitely not in Christ. This man is a blasphemer and should be marked and avoided.
