The Same Evangelical Leaders Who Bad-Mouthed Trump Over “Immorality” are Singing Zelenskyy’s Praises

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is being hailed as the world’s greatest president in the midst of a Russian invasion into Ukraine. Zelenskyy, a former comedian who defeated his incumbent in a presidential election in 2019, has now become an icon of freedom and national sovereignty around the world.

To preface this piece, I should make clear that I absolutely believe that Vladimir Putin is evil, corrupt, and his invasion of Ukraine is immoral and illegal. Therefore, this should not be construed as a defense of Putin or Russia. However, we should look at Zelenskyy, who he is, and ask the obvious question: why are the same Evangelical leaders who so repulsed by Donald Trump over his personal immorality singing the praises of Zelenskyy.

Who is Volodymyr Zelenskyy anyways? Is he the hero the world is making him out to be? What is his track record?

The media has been hyping Ukraine as a free democracy but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Zelenskyy himself is a dictator who has used his government power to silence his political opposition. So what’s the difference between Zelenskyy and Putin? Really, not much; except Zelenskyy is liberal.

So then why does Joe Biden support Ukraine? That’s clear. Ukraine, which The Guardian referred to as “the most corrupt nation in Europe” in 2015, paid Joe Biden’s son around a million dollars a year to sit on the board of the energy company, Burisma. The bottom line, Joe Biden wants to protect his family’s investment in this corrupt nation, and the world is paying the price.

This isn’t to say that Putin is right for its invasion of the country, but it cannot be overstated that the only reason Putin was able to pull off this invasion is that he saw a weakness in Joe Biden and the controlling party of the U.S.

Zelenskyy’s corruption and personal immorality far outweigh Donald Trump’s. Despite this, the same Evangelical mouths who spent the last five years lambasting Trump over his personal immorality are now singing the praises of Zelenskyy?

So what’s the difference between Trump and Zelenskyy? Why would they cry about Trump’s “mean tweets” but give a pass to Zelenskyy’s corruption and immorality? One can only conclude one thing; they have the same political agenda. Zelenskyy is a leftist who supports the legalization of marijuana, publicly funded abortion, and the legalization of prostitution and gambling. Zelenskyy is basically an Eastern Europe Democrat who is repulsed by conservatism just like the Evangelicals in the tweet above.

Bethel’s Glitter Bomb Finally Went Off — And It Reeks
