The Left Isn’t Debating Anymore, They’re Hunting

There’s really no way to whitewash this—the radical left has declared war on us. Not a metaphorical war, not just a battle of ideas ungraciously waged in op-eds at the NYT or WaPo, but a war with literal, physical casualties.

And we just saw this with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. It was the flashpoint of a culture that has been soaking itself in gasoline for years. And the thing that should chill you to the bone is not just that this happened, but that so many of them are cheering.

Mainstream journalists, anchors with polished smiles, can barely contain their glee. Social media timelines are full of “he had it coming” posts, as if a young father being murdered on a stage was simply the karmic cost of being conservative. This is where we are.

The same people who lecture us about “fascism” are now celebrating political assassinations. The same people who cry about “Christian nationalism” are openly fantasizing about killing Christians.

Antifa, the self-appointed army of “anti-fascists,” is the very embodiment of fascism—an ideology that gives no second thought to taking out their ideological opponents. And they’re just one manifestation of this deadly radicalization of the godless left.

Of course, there’s BLM, there’s Planned Parenthood, there’s radical feminism. But one thing they all seem to have in common is the rainbow flag—trans-queer ideology—and they’re now holding rifles and chanting about “defending equality.”

Make no mistake, they are after us. They are hunting us. And they are doing it because they want your children. Mutilating children and criminalizing dissent is their holy war.

This is not an overstatement—they have told us who they are. And we had better believe them. The mask has slipped, and behind it is not tolerance, not progress, but a rage that would rather burn civilization down than see it submit to the law of Christ.

For Christians, this is the world we are going to have to live in. The cost of proclaiming Christ, a biblical worldview, and biblical sexual ethics is going up. The cost of saying “Jesus is Lord” is going up.

The cost of holding fast to truth in public is going up. And for some of us, the cost will be our jobs, our livelihoods, and, quite literally, our lives. You’d better have your eyes open. You’d better be ready to watch your back.

Yes, I’m grateful we have a president willing to call Antifa what it is—a terrorist organization. That may buy us some reprieve for a short time. I’m glad some people are finally waking up and realizing the storm that’s been gathering. But let’s not pretend that this world is ever going to love us again.

It won’t.

Our hope is not in better headlines or stronger legislation—though we should desire these things and work toward their ends. Our hope is in the Blessed Hope, in Christ Himself, who will split the skies and put an end to this madness once and for all.

Until then, we stand.
We fight the good fight.
We proclaim the truth.

And we do it knowing that the same world that nailed our Savior to a cross will hate us, too.

Why Are Evangelicals Preaching Dolly Parton Into Heaven?

I’ll be the first to admit that Dolly Parton had a very likeable persona about her. She seemed very genuine, real, down-to-earth, and lovable. She seemed to genuinely care about people and want the best for them. And her music often reflected that. Dolly Parton passed...

Did the Serpent Actually Say?

That’s what she is … a serpent. And what she said is exactly what you would expect from a woman cosplaying as one of Satan’s pastors. The oldest sin recorded in the Scriptures is questioning God. In Genesis 3:1, the serpent presents the question to the woman, “Did God...

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

It seems that over the last several years, Evangelicalism has taken a sharp turn in leadership, leaving many empty chairs that were once filled with prominent voices. I think this turn started in 2017 when we lost R.C. Sproul. He was a voice the church looked to for...
