While preaching at St. Mark United Methodist Church where her parents used to serve as she was growing up, she praised the church for its work on LGBTQ inclusion and affirmation and said that it was the epitome of her faith.

“That there is the epitome of what my faith tells me to be, “Abrams said, “and that is why I will always be a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.”
