Pastor of Passion for Truth Ministries, Jim Staley, appears to be taking fraud to new heights as he tells his congregation that he is “not a teacher,” but, instead, he is the “facilitator of the Holy Spirit” to “move in their lives.”
Now, if that statement alone doesn’t make him a fraud, perhaps this will. In 2015, Staley pled guilty and was sentenced to prison for defrauding people out of millions of dollars. According to the report at Raw Story, Staley’s supporters “had visions of ‘high-ranking demonic generals,’ which Staley interpreted to be the FBI agents investigating him.”
As Big Tech continues to censor conservative publications like ours, we must increasingly rely on supporters to continue our work. Much of our work, particularly as it revolves around a biblical worldview on social and cultural issues, isn’t even allowed to be shared on social media anymore. Turns out, those “visions” were correct.
Now, Staley is assuring his congregation that he is there to “facilitate” a move of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
Ridiculous!
