In an unsurprising address to the nation, Joe Biden recently promised that he would offer aid to rebuild small businesses after the pandemic so long as the business isn’t owned by a white males.
“Our priority will be Black, Latino, Asian, and Native American owned small businesses, women-owned businesses, and finally having equal access to resources needed to reopen and rebuild,” Biden said. The implication in Biden’s words are that minorities do not have “equal access” to resources in this nation, which is obviously false. If anything, white males do not have equal access as affirmative action policies already give priority to minorities.
Biden continued, “But we’re going to make a concerted effort to help small businesses in low-income communities, in big cities, small towns, rural communities, that have faced systemic barriers to relief.”
If you think there is mass discrimination in this nation, you would be correct. The discrimination against straight, white men has hit an historic high and it appears there will be no relief any time soon.
