Just when you thought the apostate left-wing branch of progressive Christendom couldn’t get any worse, they always seem to find a way to pull another stunt to top the former. The progressive denominations, such as the United Church of Christ, the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, are well-known for their middle finger-lifting to God by ordaining females to the pulpit, affirming and promoting homosexuality, and forsaking Christ for their idols of social activism.
But this is a first, to our knowledge, that a “pastor” of a church has invited her congregants to bring their dead pets to an online service to receive a “blessing.”
Jes Kast, a female “pastor” of Faith United Church of Christ in Pennsylvania, has done just that. In a recent online video, she asks her congregants to join her for a pet blessing service.
“This is the blessing of the animals Sunday,” she says. “We invite you to bring your stuffed animals, pets you may have lost this year, memories of animals that you miss, and your real, live, living animals to the screen as we bless them and celebrate them.”
