I wish I could say that this is satire, but sadly it is not. Charlatans like Joyce Meyer regularly turn the Christian faith into a joke and that’s bad enough — we don’t need to add to it. When it comes to false prophets and false teachers, the best thing we can do is expose to the world that spiritual poison that oozes from the lips of these wicked people and tell the world that this isn’t Christianity.

It is not.

Joyce Meyer recently preached a “sermon” from the toilet. I know, sounds like I’m kidding. But I’m not. While hanging over a toilet, in a bathroom, on a video screen, she tells her audience that she had one of her “greatest spiritual moments” from a toilet.

I think we can emphatically say that pretty much everything that comes from Joyce Meyer’s mouth belongs in the toilet. Watch.

Contrast is the Language of God’s Glory

Contrast—what a concept, simple yet immense. In its essence, contrast is the art of opposition, the power of two divergent things placed side by side, each making the other clearer, more defined, and more intense. It is the interplay of light against shadow, the...
