A video of a Vatican Cardinal has surfaced showing him taking part in festival worshiping the pagan goddess, Pachamama in a festival known as the Father Sun festival.

According to Wikipedia, “Pachamama is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes,” and she is also known as the “earth/time mother.” The video, which was posted on YouTube in 2015 but due to language barriers, is just now being seen widespread, drew ire from many Spanish-speaking Catholics who called it “apostasy,” and the cardinal a “heretic.”

“Ceremony in San Marcos Sierras. Atrium of the Gentiles in Argentina,” the video description, translated from Spanish reads, “organized by the Ecumenical Social Forum, with the participation of Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, president of the Pontifical Council for Culture, Sr. Theresa Varela, vice president of the Social Ecumenical Forum and president of the Mission Mission Foundation, and representatives of native peoples.”

Of course, we already know that the Roman Catholic religion is pagan and is a false expression of the true Christian faith. The Roman Catholic Church has distorted the gospel into something biblically unrecognizable as anything other than apostasy. It should come as no surprise that a Roman Catholic cardinal would worship other pagan gods and goddesses as is politically expedient to do so.
