Pastor Luke Ash lost his job at a public library in Louisiana for refusing to play pretend. That’s the story in its simplest, clearest form. He wouldn’t call a woman a man. He wouldn’t lie. And for that unpardonable sin against the Church of Woke Inclusivity, he was fired.
Ash was a bivocational pastor, simply trying to pay his bills, provide for his family, and serve his God. But because he refused to call a man cosplaying as a woman “she,” the left decided his livelihood had to be destroyed. And with it, his entire family made collateral damage.
Isn’t it strange that the people screaming the loudest about “tolerance” can’t tolerate even one man telling the truth?
Think about that for a moment. You can blaspheme God all day long. You can shred His design for the family and parade it through the streets like a badge of honor. But heaven forbid you refuse to use a fake pronoun at a taxpayer-funded library. That’s the heresy that gets you burned at the stake. Or in our modern, sanitized version, shown the door with a pink slip.

This isn’t about pronouns or respect or tolerance or whatever other genteelism the sodomy barons want to frame it as. It never was. This is about complete submission. It’s a linguistic putsch designed to topple truth itself and replace it with ideology. The left doesn’t want you silent, they want you reciting their creed.
They don’t care what you believe in the privacy of your own heart, they just want your lips moving in the direction of their dogma. You will confess, or you will be punished. You will affirm, or you will be cast out. Is this sounding familiar? It should. Every authoritarian regime in history has understood the same thing. When you control the speech, you control the thought.
And what did Ash say? Something radical? Something hateful? No. He said, “I’m not going to lie.” That was enough to bring down the hammer and sickle. Wrap your mind around that. In twenty-first century America, the surest way to lose your livelihood is to refuse to tell a lie. If that doesn’t concern you, you’re not paying attention.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Library will tell you this was about “inclusivity,” of course. But inclusivity is nothing more than a euphemism. What they really mean is conformity. What they really mean is obedience.
Inclusion, in their twisted dictionary, means everyone is welcome as long as they bow their head at the altar of gender, race, queer, or whatever other woke ideology. And if you don’t, you’re not just excluded. You’re excommunicated. Because “inclusivity” is the Marxist project of tearing down every hierarchy—the erasure of any idea that someone might actually be better in some way, more capable, more intelligent, harder working, heck, even more attractive.
Strip all that away and you strip away competition, you strip away accountability, you strip away the very fuel that motivates people to improve. What’s left is a mass of interchangeable dependents, shackled in sameness, and ruled by the tiny class of elites who sit comfortably above the system they built.
The same people who insist you can “choose your own truth” now demand that you parrot theirs. The same folks who tell us that “words are violence” are more than happy to use words as weapons, slicing careers and reputations to ribbons. They call it kindness. They call it respect. Let’s be honest—it’s nothing more than compelled speech dressed up in a cardigan.
Ask yourself this: if they can force a pastor to say what he does not believe, what chance do you have? Today, it’s just a library clerk. Tomorrow it’s a nurse, a teacher, a truck driver. And the day after that? It’s you. The precedent is clear. Speak the lie or lose your place in society.
Notice the tactic, too. They don’t argue anymore. They don’t debate. They legislate and dictate. They slap policies on a wall and dare you to question them. They’ve moved past persuasion into coercion. Free speech has been quietly buried. What remains is forced speech. And once you accept forced speech, freedom is finished.
Make no mistake about it, this is the left’s new state religion. And this religion has blasphemy laws. Misgendering is the new heresy. Refusing to comply is the unforgivable sin. And this pastor was guilty of believing that objective truth, set forth by our Creator, outranks feelings.
For that, he had to go.
This is essentially state-sponsored enforcement of religious dogma at gunpoint, but with HR forms instead of firing squads. It’s the velvet glove over an iron fist. And if you think this ends at pronouns, you’re kidding yourself. Once you surrender your lips to the lie, they’ll never stop feeding you lines.
So ask yourself—how many more pastors, teachers, and ordinary Christians have to be sacrificed before we call this what it is? Not tolerance. Not progress. Tyranny, plain and simple. A tyranny propped up by effeminate men and carried out by bureaucrats who wouldn’t know truth if it stood up in front of them with a Bible in hand.
And when the history books are written, if there are any honest historians left, they’ll look back and marvel at a culture that thought forcing men to lie was a moral victory. They’ll shake their heads at a society that treated reality as hate speech and fantasy as law. And they’ll wonder how many good men kept their jobs by keeping their mouths shut, while the few like Pastor Ash chose to lose everything rather than surrender to the lie.
