Today, Kevin Ezell, president of the North American Mission Board, joined David Hardage of the Texas Baptists to announce a new partnership—a new ministry center in Laredo, TX, one of the largest areas on the border for illegal immigration, to offer what they are calling “compassion ministry.”

So, what exactly is “compassion ministry”? According to NAMB’s Send Relief website, “compassion ministry” is a “tangible expression of grace for those who have yet to believe the gospel.” Former Send Relief president, Bryant Wright says that “without displaying compassionate care for tangible needs, the church may face an uphill battle when it comes to gospel proclamation.”

“A world that doesn’t know Christ might not understand spiritual things, but they do understand physical needs,” Wright said according to an article on NAMB’s website. “They see the effects of poverty, homelessness and abuse.”

Essentially, the “compassion ministry” being offered to millions of illegal immigrants will be food, homes, and clothing—they are essentially harboring illegal aliens. But not only are they harboring them, but they are also encouraging them to commit these crimes against our nation.

According to US Code, this is illegal. According to US Law, any person who:

“knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation,” or

“encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law”

…is guilty of a crime and “shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B)” which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

What NAMB is doing is organized crime by encouraging and harboring illegal immigration. If your church is supporting NAMB, your church is aiding and abeting this federal crime.
