World Vision Training Course Says Native Americans Shouldn’t Have to Repent from Idolatry

World Vision, which used to be a charity organization to help fight poverty around the world, has now become nothing more than another woke organization advocating for the destruction of Christianity and its influence and the continuance of ethnocentric pagan idolatry.

World Vision has a series of online training courses where they promote these progressive and Marxist ideas by employing non-white racial instigators to demean biblical Christianity and Western culture that was born out of it. In one video, a Native American talks about how Christians from Western Europe brought Christianity to America and “destroyed” the Native American’s “covenants” with God.

This guy says that all of the different ethnic groups had their own covenants with God–which, of course, is blasphemous–and that none of these groups, including Native Americans, needed to repent of their Pagan practices because they were already “very close” to Christianity.

Interestingly, he says the only thing they lacked was the knowledge of Christ.

Now, besides the fact that what Native American’s practiced prior to Colonization–namely, Animism, ancestor worship, and divination–imagine believing that your religion is “very close to Christianity” without knowing Christ. Christ Himself is the very essence of Christianity. This would be like saying that your pizza is very close to ice cream–the only thing it lacks is ice cream.

He goes on to twist Acts 17 where Paul addresses the men of Athens and the altar to the unknown God. But to suggest that Paul doesn’t call on the men of Athens to repent of their sin and idolatry and to turn to Christ is absurd. One cannot continue in idolatry and see the Kingdom of God. He conveniently leaves out acts 17:29-30,

Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent…
