One Southern Baptist Church has been in the news quite a bit over the years as it is well-known for its carnal performances by their “worship band” performing covers of controversial rock, hip-hop, and pop songs.

Church by the Glades in Coral Springs, FL, made headlines in early 2020 after its pastor, David Hughes, was selected by another Florida pastor, David Uth, to speak at the 2020 Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting. Church by the Glades has been well known for its carnality, worldly appeal, and extravagant performances of secular dance and music including the Stormtrooper Dance, Disney Medleys, and covers of Beyonce’s Freedom.

Other world-worship songs selected by this church and its band include a cover of the pro-LGBTQ Mormon band, Imagine Dragon, and another of Shirley Manson’s band, Garbage. And most recently, a cover of the extremely anti-Christian band, Run-D.MC.’s Walk This Way.

Now in their latest display of having a friendship with the world and enmity with God (James 4:4), Church by the Glades performs a cover of one of the most foul-mouthed rappers in the world today, Kendrick Lamar.

Kendrick Lamar, according to Wikipedia, is “often cited as one of the most influential rappers of his generation.” Yet, Lamar’s lyrics are among the foulest, God-hating, perverted, and littered with swear words among his generation also.

One of Lamar’s most popular songs, We Cry Together, contains hundreds of cuss words including the F-word 76 times, the S-word 14 times, the D-word twice, the N-word 23 times, the B-word 43 times, the A-word 13 times, the P-word 4 times, and multitudes of other foul, sexually explicit words.

But the song, N95, which was performed by Church by the Glades, which also contains dozens of the same swear words, had the swear words exchanged for softer words that carried the same or similar meanings. But here’s a short snippet (with the swear words blurred out) so you can at least get an idea of what this song is about:

Now, why in the world would a Southern Baptist Church be performing such filth and subjecting its members and visitors to such anti-Christian God-hating rhetoric? One can only conclude that this Southern Baptist church is not a real church, but a synagogue of Satan. Below is a video of their performance:
