Kat Kerr–the crazy pink-haired “prophetess” who says that she saw visions of Christians being sent to a “mock hell” to be tormented by Satan for wearing jeans and make-up–is back at it again with the crazy, made-up nonsense. This time, she says that God told her before she was implanted in her mother’s womb what her life plans would be.

In a recent interview with Elijah Lists’ Kelsey O’Malley, Kerr described a “revelation” from one of her “tours” in Heaven where she saw a place called “Christmastown” where Santa Clause lives and the snow is alive.

And the father said to me, ‘why would I not have fun if I said in my Word you know you must come like a little child.’ He said ‘I’d be in a lot of trouble if I didn’t have fun places for people who are like little kids to play in.’

And one of the places I was taken to is a place in Heaven where it snows all the time…The snow is alive. Everything in Heaven has life.

In Christmastown when you go there, that is where Nicholas lives. Yes, Nick. Some people call him Saint Nick. Some people call him Santa, we’ll call him whatever.

She said that this place was planned long before the world was created. Of course, the real St. Nicholas very well may be in Heaven worshiping the living Christ. But to suggest that he is in Heaven in the form of the Earthly idol, Santa–who competes with Christ for the worship of children during Christmas–is simply blasphemous.

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

Can We Get Over John Piper Already?

It seems that over the last several years, Evangelicalism has taken a sharp turn in leadership, leaving many empty chairs that were once filled with prominent voices. I think this turn started in 2017 when we lost R.C. Sproul. He was a voice the church looked to for...

Heresy of the Day #24: Generational Curses

I recently saw a video clip of false teacher Kathryn Krick claiming to free a woman of the “generational curses” of abuse, and it was difficult to watch. The woman was obviously hurt, sad, and noticeably emotional. And here was Krick, exploiting this poor woman for...

How to Identify the Heresy of Statism in Your Church

Remember COVID? Remember the evangelical talking heads—Russell Moore, David French, Ed Stetzer—aggressively pushing us to “love our neighbors” by wearing dirty face masks? Doubled up, maybe. Telling us that we must “do the right thing” by risking our own lives,...

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Consumerism and the Worship of Worship

Somewhere along the way, the church stopped asking how God wants to be worshiped and started asking what people will show up for. We have spent decades perfecting an experience God never commanded. Not because our doctrinal statements changed. They often haven’t. Not...
