Alabama passed some of the strongest anti-abortion legislation in the country last year, a near-total ban on abortion, that has Democrats screeching and crying foul. In retaliation, Alabama Democrat, Rolanda Hollis, a state representative out of Birmingham filed a bill that would require all men to get vasectomies by age 50 “at his own expense.”

The bill, titled HB238, reads in the synopsis, “Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men. This bill would require a man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever 13 comes first.”

“The vasectomy bill is to help with the reproductive system, and yes, it is to neutralize the abortion ban bill …it always takes two to tango,” Hollis told reporters. “We can’t put all the responsibility on women. Men need to be responsible also.”

I do not believe that women should use abortion as a birth control, but I do believe that if a women is raped or if it’s incest or anything like that then she has the choice to do what she wants to do.

The Democrat logic behind the bill: if straight, white, Republican men try to save unborn babies, we’ll sterilize them so they can’t reproduce. In 2019, Hollis was arrested on domestic battery charges. An arrest report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says Hollis pushed her husband, Aaron Jefferson. It really looks like she needs legislation protection from men.

It’s unclear how someone like this could be elected into public office. It’s almost as if the vast majority of the American public suffers from total depravity, or something.
