SBC President Boasts That Church Plants Are Becoming Less White

The current Southern Baptist president has been on a mission to change the culture of the denomination into one that reflects the secular ideology of intersectionality and victimology. J.D. Greear — who has advocated that Christians stand up for LGBTQ rights and says it’s okay to vote for pro-abortion political candidates — boasted that the majority of Southern Baptist church plants in 2018 were planted by non-whites leaders.

At the recent Black Church Leadership and Family Conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, Greear explained that about sixty percent of church plants were planted by people of color and added that twenty percent of Southern Baptists are now non-white. Greear stated that God is glorified in man’s efforts to “intentionally diversify.”

Of course, this is abjectly false and diametrically opposed to what the Scriptures actually teach us about diversity.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28

… Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7

But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

James 2:9

While Greear and other SBC leaders have made it a mission to artificially diversify the Evangelical church — even at the expense of sound doctrine and biblical orthopraxy — God is busy building His church not based on the color of one’s skin, but on His sovereign choice to elect and save whomever He pleases. God does not need us to “intentionally diversify” the Church — God has commanded us to go into the world and preach the gospel to all tribes, tongues, and nations and call them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. God is responsible for changing hearts and building His Church — not J.D. Greear or any other denominational leader.

God will not be mocked and when we artificially build the Church to reflect diversity rather than godliness, the name of Jesus is blasphemed among the nations. This movement does nothing to build the Kingdom of God but serves only placate the culture.

Transvestite State Rep Calls on Activists to Storm More Churches
