Earlier today, The Dissenter reported that a Southern Baptist Seminary professor, Karen Swallow Prior, made it clear that she believe four years of Donald Trump was not worth overturning Roe v. Wade. Prior went as far as to say that she’d rather wait 50 more years to overturn the pro-abortion ruling that guaranteed women the “right” to murder their own child than to have to endure a Trump presidency. Below is one of her tweets from that thread:

Of course, Swallow Prior’s argument is absurd and demonstrates a level of immaturity that no real Christian—particularly one who is training future Southern Baptist pastors—should ever be consigned to.

Following her absurd tweet, conservative pastor and former Southern Baptist presidential nominee, Mike Stone tweeted implying that the proper response to Swallow Prior’s statements was the termination of employment from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. And among those who “liked” the tweet is Johnny Hunt, senior pastor of First Baptist Church Woodstock, in Woodstock, Georgia, and alumni of Southeastern Seminary.

We join the call for her termination and this should happen immediately.
